Chapter 5: Escape from Fear. Find your Destiny.

Rain looked up at Fear. Fear looked down at Rain.
"Where is our mom?" Rain asked.
"Somewhere secret." Fear replied coldly. Rain stood up and looked Fear in the eye bravely. That Rain... does he even know who fear is? Snowkit wondered. "Do you somehow have mom?" Rain said coldly. "Rain. My friends will take care of her." Fear gave Rain the evil eye as she spoke. Rain sat down. He hid behind Frost, who was looking up at Fear. "Fear, our mommies will rescue us! Just you wait!" Frost yowled.  Fear glared at Frost. Suddenly, Fear unsheathed her claws and attacked Frost. "Moss! Moss! Help us! Moss!" Snowkit suddenly yelled out without thinking. He saw claws flash at his face. Everything went black.

Snowkit woke up. He was in a shimmering, starry forest. A white cat padded up to Snowkit. "Who are you?" Snowkit asked. He could hear! "Do not be afraid." The starry cat told him. "You are brave. You are DESTINED to turn this pride into a great clan." "How?" Snowkit asked. " First, tell your friends about playing clan. Then, slowly turn it into the real thing." the Starclan cat replied, smiling.
"But why these cats?" Snowkit asked.
"Sit down. I will tell you a story." Said the cat.
The story began. "Long ago, there was 5 clans, Thunderclan, Shadowclan, Windclan, Riverclan, and Skyclan. They all lived in harmony for a while, and frighted only sometimes. Then, one day, Skyclan's territory was reduced to rubble. Monsters surrounded their camp, ready to pounce. Their leader, Cloudstar, had no choice but to abandon the territory. It happened on the night of the gathering, so Cloudstar brought his clan to Fourtrees. He told the other leaders what was happening, and asked if he could have a little of each of their territory. Redstar, the Thunderclan leader, said, "We have too many mouths to feed." Dawnstar, leader of Shadowclan, said, "The rats are taking over our territory!" Windclan and Riverclan both had food problems. So Skyclan was forced to leave, and they perished." So i have to rebuild Skyckan? Snowkit thought. As if she was able to read his thoughts, The Starclan cat said,  "No, Another cat will do that in the future. Let me continue." Snowkit prepared to hear more. "When Skyclan left, a few cats left the group, because they had no trust in Cloudstar. You found their decendants." The story ended. The starry world started to fade away. "Go! Return to your body and build the lost clan!" The cat's voice was fading away. "Go!"

Snowkit woke up. His side hurt. "Snowkit? Snowkit!" Frost was standing over him. "Fear is asleep. let's tiptoe past her." Frost spoke in a hushed voice. "Comeon, Rain, Cricket." Each kit didn't dare breathe as they tiptoed past. They made it past Fear! They didn't feel safe, so they tiptoed all the way back to camp. "Moss! Wing!" Snowkit called in a whisper. "We snuck past fear and made it home!" Moss and Wing came out of their hole. "Snowkit! oh, Snowkit! I was so worried about you!" Moss said as she covered Snowkit with licks. Suddenly, Moss stopped. " I feel like you have been my son forever." Me too. Thought Snowkit.
"I love you mom."

AN: I could not resist writing this chapter! I really, really like the ending, he gets to say I love you to his mom.
