Chapter 21: Whynaut?

Snoweagle strolled into Lightning's den. He was there. Here goes nothing. Snoweagle thought.
"Uh...Lightning?" Snoweagle asked.
"Yes..?" Lightning answered.
"I wanted to talk to  you about this clan." Snoweagle said. "And about you."
"What do you want?" Lightning asked.
"Well...This can't be a real clan until you appoint a deputy and revive your nine lives." Snoweagle told him.
"Well...." Lightning started nervously. "I suppose i could appoint a deputy. Where do you get nine lives?" He asked.
"From a place called the moon stone." Snoweagle told him. Snoweagle felt a bead of sweat drop down. he better not ask how long the journey will take...
"How far away is the moonstone?" Lightning asked. Uh-oh. thought Snoweagle. a second bead dripped from his face.
"Just a moment please..." Snoweagle said nervously. "I won't be long.." Snoweagle raced out for Lightning's den and confronted Wing. "Whatwouldyoudoifyouhadtotellsomebody-" He started.
"Woah woah woah WOAH!" Said Wing. "Start over-and say what you were meaning to... SLOWLY."
Snoweagle sighed, turned around, and took a deep breath. He turned around.
"What would you-"Snoweagle was cut off by Lightning.
"Snoweagle." Lightning called. "You said you wouldn't be long."
"Sorry." Said Snoweagle.
"Shall we be continuing sometime today?" Lightning said, a hint of anger in his voice.
Snoweagle turned to Wing. "Sorry." Snoweagle trotted back to Lightinng's den.
"Where were we?" Asked Lightning.
"Ah... To get to the moonstone, you have to travel about a moon." Snoweagle said.
"Why not?" said Lighting. "Nine lives are worth a Moon's travel, arn't they?" He said. Snoweagle was taked be surprise.  Wh-WHAAAAAAAAT? The thought. "We should head off soon, shouldn't we?" Lightning said.
"Don't forget to app-" Snoweagle was cut off yet again.
"Don't worry, i'll appoint a deputy." Lightning reassured.
